Missy and I love halloween. Missy woke up this morning feeling a little blue. So we pulled out the artificial 3.5ft tree from storage. Hit the dollar store and loaded up on halloween stuff. A ghost garland, plastic rings, pumpkins, beads and wooden bats. The wooden bats were blank, so we loaded up on glitter glue, colored the bats and decorated the tree.

I dreamt about this tree, actually, except it grew to 8 feet tall and then I couldn't help decorate because I had to buy some bread but they only had the mint kind.

...I was very tired.

Unrelated news: Thanksgiving has snuck up on me so I don't have it off! :(

I've already finished my costume, got Jack-o-Lantern lights strung all in my room, and a gigantic rubber bat hanging in the corner ;). But wow. This is genius. Plain and simple. Well it seems silly to have an artificial tree and only use it once a year. Since this turned out to be such a hit, I think I'll be decorating it for every holiday I can.
